about the artist
Colleen Kornish (they/she) is an American Illustrator working out of the Hudson Valley, and an alumni of the Fashion Institute of Technology’s BFA Illustration program. They use a mixture of traditional and digital media with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship to create paintings and characters with unique stories to tell.
She is inspired by literature, nature, and the paranormal; of which her work features quite a lot of. Colleen most enjoys working through the lens of portraiture and historical illustration.
